My family and I are planning to visit Disney World in Florida this summer.  Oh and man are my kids excited.

My wife and I thought it would be a great insentive for our children to not only help around the house, but to learn how to save money.  So we added a cookie jar in our living room that is meant for daily investments.  You see, each day all of us are supposed to add a minimum of a quarter.  That way, they will all see money grow.  Amazingly enough, our three girls, my wife and I managed to put more than $1100 in that cookie jar in 220 days.   I know I seeded it a bit here and there, but I never thought that we woiuld have deposited over $5.00 per day in a cookie jar.  Well, we have filled it two more times since we started filling it and are working on the final fill.  We’ll leave this summer just after the school season comes to a close.  After two years of savings, we’ll have about $4,000 saved up for out trip.

Our family have never really gone on any vacations in the past 11 years.  Since the birth of our youngest daughter, we have just been so busy.  There are always places to go and things to do with our kids all year long.  All the sports and all the shows, the courses and fun events.  Yet a real vacation is next to impossible for us.  However, we knew that before our oldest daughter enters highschool, we wanted to take the girls to Disney World.   As if they are going to say no.

I also found an online ebook that after ordering was pleased with all the information in it.  Tons of pages of very organized and valuable information.  It is easy to use and safe to download .  I plan on leaving it on my laptop so that when we go, I will have all the information at my fingertips while were there.

There are lots of great information about Disney World that I found and have read online, I just didn’t bookmark it all, it was kind of a read and remember.
